What we collect
- What you type or say: questions, stories, and notice details you submit, plus the state and county or city you choose.
- Account information: if you sign up, your email address.
- Saved items: matters, deadlines, checklists, and your acknowledgement of our Legal Information Policy, saved only if you're signed in and choose to save.
- Browser storage: your selected jurisdiction and acknowledgement are kept on your device.
How it's used
Your submission is sent to an AI service to generate the answer. If you're not signed in, nothing you ask is saved to an account. We do not sell your personal information.
Voice input
Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Depending on your browser, audio may be processed by the browser maker (for example Google or Apple). You can always type instead.
Sensitive information
Please don't enter Social Security numbers, full bank or card numbers, passwords, or similar identifiers. LegalJargonAI doesn't need them.
Your choices
You can delete any saved matter at any time from My Matters. Deleting a matter also deletes its deadlines and messages.
Not attorney-client privileged
Because LegalJargonAI is not a law firm, what you share is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
